Robert D. Miles, MD, FACC
Robert D. Miles, M.D. received his BS from the University of Georgia, Athens and then earned his medical degree from the Mercer University School of Medicine, Macon, GA in 1999. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Virginia in 2002 and his Cardiovascular Fellowship at the Wake Forest University School of Medicine in 2005.
Dr Miles has been practicing cardiology in Thomasville, GA since 2005. He has served on various hospital committees at Archbold Memorial hospital throughout his 15 years in Cardiovascular practice. Dr. Miles is board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Diseases with a subspecialty certification in Nuclear Cardiology. He is recognized as a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. His other professional affiliations include the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology and the American Society of Echocardiography. Dr. Miles enjoys practicing the art of medicine by not only applying scientific knowledge and personal experience, but also tailoring each decision to help the patient in front of him. His special interests include the management of complex cases, Arrhythmias and congestive heart failure. Dr. Miles sees patients in Thomasville, Bainbridge, Cairo, Camilla and Quitman.
