L. Carrie Stanaland, MSN, AGNP-BC, CVNP-BC
Carrie attended the University of Georgia and graduated in 2008 with a BSEd in Exercise and Sport Science. She then went on to graduate from Valdosta State University with a BSN in 2009.
Carrie began her nursing career at John D Archbold Memorial Hospital in 2009, where she worked as a Registered Nurse for 4 years in the Intensive Care Unit. In 2013 she graduated from Valdosta State University with an MSN and obtained a board certification as an Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner.
Following graduation in 2013, she joined Cardiovascular Consultants of South Georgia as an Interventional Cardiology NP. In 2020 she became board-certified as a Cardiovascular NP.
Carrie considers it a privilege to serve others during their times of need and guide them on a journey towards better cardiovascular health. Establishing lasting relationships with patients and their families is a highlight of Carrieās practice and has been one of the most rewarding aspects of her career.
Carrie enjoys spending family time with her supportive husband, two precious girls, two spoiled cats, one loyal dog, and eleven vocal chickens. She enjoys long outdoor walks, UGA football, and beach trips, and has a weird love for vacuuming. Carrie is an active member of Cairo First Methodist Church.
