Pranav Diwan, MD, FACC, FSCAI

Pranav Diwan, M.D. attended Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, LA and earned a BS in Biological Engineering and then graduated with his medical degree in 2007 from SUNY Downstate College of Medicine, Brooklyn, NY. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Texas at Houston. Dr. Diwan finished his Cardiovascular Fellowship at Louisiana State University New Orleans and his Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at the University of Toledo Medical Center.

Dr. Diwan has been practicing cardiology in Thomasville, Georgia since 2015. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease with a subspecialty certification in Interventional Cardiology. He is recognized as a Fellow of both the American College of Cardiology and the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions. Dr. Diwan is also a Clinical Assistant Professor of Cardiology at the Florida State University College of Medicine and recipient of the Humanism and Excellence in Teaching Award from the University of Texas at Houston Health Sciences Center.

Dr Diwan's special interests in cardiology include coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, endovascular interventions, coronary and peripheral atherectomy, complex Percutaneous Coronary Interventions and heart failure. He is dedicated to improving the lives of his patients by delivering quality care that he would expect for his own family. He enjoys the camaraderie of the providers at Cardiovascular Consultants paired with the astute clinicians and skilled technical operators which together provide high caliber care.

In addition to serving patients in Thomasville, Dr. Diwan also see patients in Bainbridge and Moultrie.

In his free time, Dr. Diwan enjoys spending time with family, traveling and LSU and New Orleans Saints football.
